Lancaster, PA. The JB Foundation received hundreds of toys from Marine Toys for Tots Lancaster who for the third consecutive year donated toys for children in the Dominican Republic.
What is Marine Toys For Tots?
Toys for Tots is a program run by the United States Marine Corps Reserve that distributes toys to children whose parents cannot afford to buy them gifts for Christmas. The program was founded in 1947 by Reservist Major Bill Hendricks .
The Marine Toys for Tots Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit public charity located in Triangle, Virginia, serves to fund, raise funds and support the program.
Marine Toys For Tots Lancaster has been supporting the mission of the JB Foundation since 2020 by donating toys to underprivileged children in the Caribbean country. In the coming days we will be holding our annual A toy for me event which will reach over 200 children in the Dominican Republic.
